These guys have found a niche market!! Proper coffee and excellent wood fired pizza. A simple yet modern, gourmet menu with some really delicious seasonal specials. The pizza crusts are to die for - just right - thin enough, but with good bubbles and stretch in the dough for a light, crisp but wholesome affair! The coffee is fresh and REAL.There is a great beer garden, but really, you are here for the pizza and coffee.

Come for their coffee, but stay for their pizzas! They have a wood burning oven outside next to the patio and they make some excellent pizzas.Coffee is roasted on the darker side (trend in the bay seems to be towards lighter roasts), but great in milk based drinks.

Came here for breakfast before kayaking and dinner after. Breakfast burrito w salsa was just so wholesome and delicious. The mushroom pizza was awesome! All Kinds of mushrooms on an extremely fragrant sourdough! Wish I can eat here every day even though I would have given 5 stars just for their coffee!

Coffee is fantastic here. I try to always come when I'm in town. If you have time and are there on a day they are roasting inside, the smell is amazing.Food is always freshly made and is great tasting. Breakfast burrito and avacado toast is my favorite.I haven't tried any of the local brews they serve there, but the brick oven pizzas as killer as well.Staff has always been friendly.

Delicious coffee, wonderful staff, and a cool/laid back/artsy atmosphere. The perfect place to stop after wandering the quaint streets of SJB to relax and reenergize the soul. Vegan tip: they have plant based milks (oat milk ftw) and you can ask to veganize the stone fired pizza (aka no cheese add veggies). Also pups are allowed only on the front patio :)

Great local coffee shop. Love the Cubano, Affogato & Spellbound. Breakfast is delicious also.

Its a gem. Very nice inside. They have sacks of coffee and package their own. Beer, pizza, coffee and more. Love this place. Decent pricing. By the way pizza is baked in an outdoor fireplace looking oven.

Hands down the best local coffee shop in San Juan Batista!! Hand roasted coffee selections with limited but delicious breakfast selections and pastry. For the evening crowd there is delicious Vertigo Pizzas baked in their wood fired oven and local beer and wine selections. On a warm day the outdoor patio is inviting for casual get together in a shaded patio.

Not a coffee drinker, but love the cool laid back roast company vibe and location. Nice outdoor seating area and told by my coffee sipping colleagues the menu and options where excellent. My hot chocolate could have been tad thicker in consistency, maybe with added milk or more whipped topping.

Some of the best coffee I've ever had. Seriously. Been completely thinking obsessively about the Spellbound I had...so smooth, full of flavor, a hint of sweetness, and the perfect aroma of what I always envision coffee to be. If I were to have a complaint? I don't live next door, and the Spellbound doesn't come in gallon size...

After attending mass at the mission, stopped at this place to have some nice warm java. The coffee was great so was the customer service. They have coffees from around the world. Seen some from Africa, Brazil and Mexico.

Coffee, Pizza, Adult Beverages, and the colorful inhabitants of San Juan Bautista. What more could you want? Combining craft coffee with craft beer and local wines and then building a brick over and making gourmet pizzas is a home run play anywhere, let alone this sleepy little village. I am biased as a regular, but this is a special shop, run by good folks.
